As our first round of winter weather approaches, I would like to remind you that any postponement or cancellation notice will come from me via this messaging service, phone call, as well as our social media page(s).
Thank you,
Mr. Kurle
Due to pending inclement weather, we have made the decision to postpone the college tour. We are looking at rescheduling some time in the spring.
Last Wednesday, our seniors participated in College Application Day sponsored by Bank of North Dakota. Each student can apply to one college and BND covers the cost of the application. This year we had 6 students apply to NDSU, 4 to BSC, 1 to NDSCS, 1 to DSU, 1 to Josef's School of Cosmetology, and 1 to Odessa College in Texas! Congratulations to the class of 2024 on taking this important step towards your future!
Reminder: Family Fun Night and Book Fair is tomorrow night, Tuesday, October 17, from 5 - 7 PM in the gym and library. Dress like a Pirate and come and find your treasure! Students must be accompanied by an adult. Hope to see you there!
The high school World Agriculture and Technology class created a presentation to share with the elementary students about cows. They also did an activity with the students afterwards. The presenters and students had a lot of fun and laughs!
This coming Monday, Oct 16, Belfield Public School will be hosting the 19th annual Choirfest. Choir students from Belfield, Bowman, Hettinger, Scranton, and South Heart will be combining to create a mega choir that will be directed by Mr. Matt Goettle, who is the music director at Dickinson High School. The choirs will then perform together at a concert at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium. The concert is free and open to the public, so come out and support our choir students!

2nd grade conducted a science experiment with celery and food dye. They learned that the red dye appeared to kill the leaves in the celery stick. The green and orange dye absorbed the best and were the prettiest.
